Birds in my garden-with my new lens.

I ordered a new lens last week, Nikon70-300 vr lens - (Shhh - 4 times the amount of my old 70-300 lens).
Ready for my cruise to Norway later this year.
Eager to try it out - I went and sat in DWs shed(studio) with the door open and sat and waited - here are the results ----

Last year we put up a new nesting box - hoping to get some Bluetits nesting, we had a couple checking it out last year, but after building a part nest, they deserted it.
This year we have 2 checking it out and they keep popping in and out - so hoping they and us will get the pleasure of some little titties.
Here I captured one of them.
Maybe they will stay, because DW saw one pecking away at the wood to make the hole bigger.

Please click and enlarge to enjoy.

Congratulation with the new lens! You seem to have put it to good use already. I have had Canon's corresponding (70-300 EF IS USM) for 3-4 month's and you can look forward to much fun!
