Waiting to Spring into action
The lady waits for the spring sunshine - to warm her Heart and Soul to spring into Action.

Lovely shot and words. The days are getting longer and soon she'll all be in the light - I'd half expect her to uncurl herself and stand up when that happens.

What a lovely statue, different. I often wish I could see these chunks of stone being carved into a beautiful work of art. Such talent using one's hands and seeing a piece come to life must be very rewarding.

Your lady isn't the only one waiting for spring sunshine and warm weather. It's snowing here in Tennessee as I write this.
she is definitely an african lady, probably carved out of sand stone. i have a few small ones like her. gorgeous isn't she?
