  2. Intersting picture, I am going to be staring at it now trying to see where the water begins. I love that you can not see a break between the clear water and sand.

  3. It seems to me that the picture shows more than sand and water along with the glove, but I'm not at all sure what it is. But I will admit that it is in fact interesting.

  4. Mac: How neat that even the dicarded glove wants peace. Those are some neat sand formations.

  5. I love that there are the two fingers denoting "peace". I love the texture of the glove in contrast to the texture of the sand.
I don't like the gooey stuff under the glove fingers or the horrible green colour of the glove - but it is a good contrast!

There you go. Oh and I love the title. Finger dip. Very McMahon-esque. ;0)

  7. Internet Explorer ate my comment! Grrr. Sometimes it opens in IE by default and I hate that. On Mozilla now. OK - rant over.

  9. Old eagle eyes strikes again!

Agree that the glove wants peace, or perhaps the former owner only had two fingers!

  11. The PEACE work of today
    is all rubbish and plastic
    we are hiding the reality
    deep into the sand, still
    we can't hide the problems
for ever, the we will drown
    in unconsciousness forever.

Water is the symbol of life
    the PEACE movement and the
    water is forever connected
    for united survival. The dirt
that we have to wash of the
    scene is significant for the
    search for power n' money

  12. or ....

Once upon a time Mr Glove
    was looking for real love
he went to the sandy beach
    and held his stump speech

    ...

    more to come? ;-)

  13. If the finger needs the green gloves to take a dip... that means the water is too cold.

  14. The glove looks like it's making the peace sign. I like it. It really caught my eye as I was scrolling through the blogger thingie that shows you what everyone has recently posted.

Imac, thank you for your kind words on my blog during this difficult time. Hugs.

  15. Great photo! That part I like. What I don't like is that it looks like a bloody surgical glove that was discarded improperly and washed up on your beach.

  16. I don't like it and I don't dislike it, I just find it strange and the photo special ! Good finding !

Maybe a surgeon went over board during the operation ? Now please look for the corpse !

  17. Hrm - odd shot...I don't like gloves by the shore because I always think that there might be a body attached...this one seems to be in the process of being reclaimed by the sea, though, and all I take from it is that there's seaweed starting to attach itself to the glove.

  18. You are always mysterious. Can't say there is anything I especially dislike about it.

  19. Sharp-eyed is what I would call a photographer who recognizes art can be found in many forms and any place!

  20. The part that I didn't like is that the green glove turned out to be the creature of the black lagoon. And that it came up out of the slushy sand to grab your leg and pull you into the water. And that you could only shoot it with your camera, because you didn't have a harpoon gun to shoot it properly. And that you had to fight the beast under water and lost your trousers before making a narrow escape with your life. And that I had to mail bail money to get you out of jail for streaking on a public beach.

Other than that, It's pretty cool.
