My World UK
Comes from the Hole of Horcum -(click to see) North Yorkshire - on the road from Pickering to Whitby.
This is the lay-by to park in - where you can view the Hole of Horcum from.
This photo was shot straight into the sun, as the sun melts the snow, hence the wet road reflecting.
The Edge of Horcum Hole.

Sounds like place for a childrens book. Very impressive landscape. Your new header is astonishing too.
ReplyDeleteThose are amazing shots and the way you shot into the sun made it very dramatic. I like the reflective quality on the road.

This could have been a scenic view of Jane Eyre's wandering . So full of loneliness. Suppose you were walking there at night and all by yourself! Very beautiful, Imac! The pictures are great!

ReplyDeleteIneresting place! Was this carved out by glaciers or some other geological event? Your vacation looks like you had a fabulus time!
ReplyDeleteI see some gorge bushes in your photo. These are great because I bet when everything is green you can't really see the gorge for the trees.
