  1. Hello imac,
so glad I have Google Alert on Katherine Jenkins as I was at that event with a number of friends as fans of Katherine and most of us had queued up from 3pm at the entrance gates to make sure we got front row seats and I can see some of my friends on your photos. I took quite a lot myself A great concert in spite of the weather and a lot better than the day before concert that was rained off.

  17. Never heard of either of those groups. They must be really good to have so many people out in the cold to see them. Hope you stayed warm. Enjoyed your pictures.

  18. The performers are not dressed for the weather for sure!! I went to an outdoor concert put on by our symphony orchestra last May and they cut it short due to the cold. They said the temperatures would damage the instruments, and it was above freezing.

  29. Holding a 300mm (which on a D80 equates to 450mm) by hand and shooting at 1/320 is impressive indeed! Keep up that steady hand!

  31. I'll bet that was fun. I like open air concerts. We have a huge jazz one every summer up near me. It was just recently moved there because the crowd is so big now.
    Great shots.
