I wonder if you get a double pot of gold with a double rainbow. Lovely photos and interesting to find out about the true shape of a rainbow, I'm saving that for my five year old.

Imac,
You're also a Rainbows collector. You own great treasures.
I don't even need to find an explanation about their creation, I prefer just admiring as long as good photographers manage to catch them, and share with us, Skywatchers, for free.
Thanks for the present

Maybe you didn't find gold, but there's 'gold' in these photos - beautiful!
Double rainbows in the first and last - very cool Imac.

Yeah,I knew they were circles. :)

I like rainbows. When I was a child, I was told not to point or it will cut off my fingers. :) I still don't.

Even your mountain's name sounds sweet.

I got to know my downtown for my skywatch this week.

I love this photo series. Rainbows always make the perfect subject, but you have to move fast before they disappear. Great job!

Lovely selection, iMac.

Some months ago I posted about the ``real'' shape of a rainbow - because I saw one while taking off from Kathmandu, Nepal!

I haven't seen a rainbow for ages! So I enjoyed your rainbow pictures a lot!

They are fanTAStic shots!!! Without checking the link yet, I would answer that a rainbow is not a bow at all, but a complete circle. I'm off to see if I am right in a minute.

The third and fourth shots are just magnificent. Excellent captures and very very worthy of a POTD mention in my book!

I love the educational challenge. It's amazing that rainbows are actually circles.

Terrific collection of rainbows you posted! I love rainbows... seem to be a lot of them being posted this time. That makes me smile!

Why are there so many songs about rainbows? What's on the other side? Someone said something, and someone believed it, look what its done so far....

of course the pot of gold is a myth, whoever started it was an effective liar.

Beautiful rainbow fotos, thank God (who was the first to show the rainbow) for wonderful creation that you beautifully captured! TC!
