I could see the country Austria on the bag -- I have ancestors there-- some people speed read and think it said Australia. lol
I bet lots of visitors think they are in Australia , not Austria and ask, "Where are the kangaroos?" (I think Katney was up all night getting ready for her trip to California and read it too fast. lol)
I have a t-shirt with this, because it's a real problem :)), even in Europe people still ask us: "oh, so you're from Australia, right? long way!". oh, well... just spell after me: A-U-S-T-R-I-A! the only kangaroos we have there are at the zoo... LOL... brillian guy, the one who invented this :)). thanks for posting it!
We Australians are so used to this. I am sure there are thousands of tourists turn up here each year, scratch their heads and go - where are all the snow-capped mountains and broken down ski-lifts????
So where are they if not in Australia? That is decidedly odd.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny what we think we see, but have to look twice to realize what it really says? Almost caught me....get shot!
ReplyDeleteAlmost got me, too! Great shot!

ReplyDeleteDidn't get me but only because I knew you had just been to Austria.

ReplyDeleteStrange! I agree with Katney: if they aren't in Australia then where are they? Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteQuite true, they've all been turned into dog food and racing leathers.

You could print some for here, as I don't think there are any roos in the UK, except in zoos.
