I've had quite a few comments and emails from this weeks Skywatch about Julies Painting(pink sky winter scene)
So I thought it would be nice to show a selection of her work.
At the moment DW is into Mixed Media - Stitching and Sewing also Embelishing.
Here Im showing some of her past works.
1) = Barrowby Church = Pen n ink with water wash.
2) = A painting of a place that was visited long ago in France -in Oil.
3) = This is also from France A Garden - done in Oil too.
4) =This one is called-Pebbles and its a Water Colour. This one won her a prize at a well known art festival.
5) = This one is called The Roar of Water and is done in Mixed Media, this was an idea from a water fountain from Belton House Gardens, which won her a Comendation in a Art competition.

ReplyDeleteMac - these are quite stunning - has Julie had any formal training in art, if not she has a natural flair for it - I love the second one, great perspective and unique colours, lovely.
