Time Travelling to Beamish.

All aboard the Time Bus to Beamish, come along there Madam we are about to start our journey - back to 1913AD - when the Town of beamish was a Developing and thriving Town. Hold tight everyone we are about to start our journey. Ding ding.

Well here we are - entering the Town of Beamish in the year 1913 of our Lord.

Whatch that bottom step Madam, dont want you falling down now, there's no hospital around here yet.
Right u are, here you see at the bus stop we advertise many things that our shops have for sale, our main shop is the all famous Co-op, there's not many left in the year we just left behind -- or should I say in front of us."know what I mean".

Here we have the main street, behind us are the houses where the people of the year 1913 lived, we'll check them out later after lunch. Just down the road here on the left is the sweet shop, why dont you all pop in and treat yersels to a quarter of aniseed balls or summat like. I'll pick you all up in a while,ok folks see ya soon. ==== TO BE CONTINUED.

  3. How wonderful! Such a fun post to read and view!

Thank you for your comment on my blog! The blogs of people in the UK (and I especially mean you and dear old Tom) are among my favorites! Apart from my native New England, the most amount of time I've spent anywhere is Old England! I love it so, and can mentally transport myself back there when I read your blogs! =)
