My ABC . - S - is from The Holy Island (Lindisfarne) Where there was a Viking re-enactment,
S.= Sword and Shield.

ReplyDeleteI would have loved to see your sword and shield in person. I know about Lindisfarne's being destroyed by the Norsemen, leading to England's viking kings, all because I'm very interested in William the Conqueror, a viking descendant himself.

ReplyDeleteWasn't Lindisfarne the first place to be attacked by the Vikings? Actually they never left Great Britain or France and they had a great influence on the English language. Thanks for your visit. Your blog is interesting!
