Here we enter the reception and book in, (youve seen the room) we shower and a change of clothes, then saunter to the dining room and take your table.
You look around and see jars and jars and jars and jars.
The new look dining room holds over 2000 jars of fruit, beans, chilies, pulses, herbs ect ect, all bottled in the resturant in a preservative and air tight.
When asked why?? the answer was for a talking point, and because its different. --- Well sure is different and it was quite a talking point to, also very photogenic.

That is very interesting decor...
Wow yes, some talking point! And lovely colors for the decor. But... do they use them, too? Sure hope so! :-)
Thank you for your kind words, in your comment, on my leaving CDPB post. I'll still be having fun with my photographs. And still visiting people I've met. And I'll try to remember to put the link to my blog, after my signed name.

oo I think all those jars of pickled onions would put me off my food!
That is amazing and unique for sure!
What a clever idea! I was wondering why anyone would "can" beans. . .
wow - pretty cool, man.
Amazing. What a unique place!
Ooooooooooooh what did you have?
Interesting post. All of the colorful food in the jars sort of reminds me of how we used to can food for the year during the War. Everyone did it so it was not so unusual. I just never saw it used in this way. Nice photos.
Very decorative indeed. Now I see what's odd about it all!
They look so interesting, were they for sale and did you buy any?
Very neat, you could sit there and try to identify each thing in the jars.
How Kewl is this...looks good...
That's different - lovely hotel!
Called into the Duke of Rutland's place, but it had just closed due to a society wedding. Will try again next time we're up that way.
It looks like some very exclusive supermarket, rather than a hotel dining room. Were you tempted to open any?
that is indeed a lot of jars! nice idea if i lived in a house with no kitchen storage.
VERY interesting! I'm enjoying "our" vacation :)
Wow that is a lot of pretty jars.
