OK my friendly Bloggers - Lets see who can name the Owls, cause, to be honest Im not sure.
All these were taken at a Village called Denton. Every year Bank Holiday Monday Denton holds a street Market, with lots and lots of stalls.Bands playing, raffles, all sorts of stalls from new to second hand. with all manner of items. Theres also beer tents and food tents.
IMHO I think that the top two are Eagle Owls, the middle is a Tawny and the bottom is Barn Owl, which can be very noisy at night!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what kind they are but they sure are beauties. That last one looks a little strange tho. lol
ReplyDeleteBarn at the bottom, then Tawny, European Eagle Owl... And the one at the top is a very rare Teat Owl

Terrific pictures of the different owls. Sorry I don't know their names.
ReplyDeleteThey are fine looking birds. I could have told you they are owls.. but do not know what kind. Good Photos!!
ReplyDeleteI think the last one is a Barn Owl but I don't know the others. They are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHave not a clue, and i should hit myself because we have the High Desert Museum here that has on occasion different owls.
ReplyDeleteBut they are all beautiful in there own way. Those claws are something else.

Gawd - whooooooo knows - not I!!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous birds though - love them. We had a family of Boobooks that nested each year in a tree in our back yard in Australia. The poops were massive on our entertainment area every morning but we loved them and their babies.
No Idea, but they are beautiful and the photos are excellent.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the place where I work has an owl as a logo, I cannot be of much help here. All I can say is that I am impressed by the pictures and find my way to the beer-tent...
ReplyDeletei love owls and owlets and family members these are special
