Chain Gang.........Now here's a quick quiz, what do you think my next photo will be ???
that "COULD" be attached to the chains??
Please post your answers to this post.
I will post the photo in 24 hrs at 11.05pm UK time.
((bet no one even gets close))
Slight help here = It might not be what is actually attached to the chains.
Okay..this probably has nothing to do with the chains, but for some reason I thought of trains...
ReplyDeleteBoats
ReplyDeleteBuoy that is tied up with anchor.
ReplyDeleteYour Wallet...LOL
ReplyDeleteMaybe a HE GIANT!
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting picture. It is near the sea, I think from the state of the wall. I haven't a clue what it might be.
ReplyDeleteWom Tigley's bear?
ReplyDeleteThere is some seaweed, so I guess this is a quay at ebb-tide. I suspect that it is a "trick-question", so the obvious answers like buoys and anchors must be out. I think the chain is attached to the quay itself (we can't see the whole ring), so is suggest that there is a "gang" standing on the quay.
ReplyDeleteOK - a bit far-æfetched - but you asked for it!
Which end of the chain are you talking about?
ReplyDeleteThe one attached to the wall, or the other end attached to the whale having sex with a giraffe while knitting socks for her grandmother?
Sorry Mac, but when you set a quiz you have to be precise.
those wild dogs from the moors!
ReplyDeleteCould it be... Gorden Brown, Tony Blair, and George W Bush... waiting for the tide to come in.
ReplyDeleteOh! Bouy that would be fun...ha!
A supermarket trolley. It's the usual things that are found in rivers etc. That and bicycles.
ReplyDeleteJust been catching up with your adventures and visits. Trust you learnt a lot from the British Museum. It's years since I went.
Me again - I said a gang on the quay - but of course there is about one at each end on the beach; of birds, fishes, whatever. balloons maybe?
ReplyDeleteI guess "BOATS" : )
ReplyDeleteNext picture at the end of the chain will be a heap of human bones laying on the deserted beach, the flesh picked off by seagulls, the bones bleached by the sun..... oh, I forgot, this is England... well, maybe NOT bleached by the sun, just washed by the rain....
ReplyDeleteLobster Thermidor....er, out-of-door?
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of the mud maid, btw.
a) Rowboats
ReplyDeleteb) Dracula clones
c) Tarzan (as in Me Tarzan, you chain)
Waiting.....
ReplyDeleteWhat about a Manx's man.. chained at each foot... LOL at Tarzan and Chain...:O)
ReplyDeleteUnruly triplets.
ReplyDeleteWell around this part of the country when you say chain gang it means prisoners on chains doing work of some sort
ReplyDeleteI like this shot. I watched a show on TV the other day about photography and they were saying how people who do photography always notice the unusal stuff they other people don't notice. They said that is what makes great photography to tell the story to the rest of the people who don't do photography. Anyway, I had to agree. I notice alot of stuff my sister says she'd never notice. Just had to share.
