This is Gormire Lake, Taken from the top of Sutton Bank
Now that IS a hill.
The 1st time I went up there(many years ago) I was crawling up behind a lorry,
When all of a sudden a 3 wheel car pulled out and tried to pass me and the lorry
when all of a sudden another car came round the corner, how he managed to get
between me and the lorry ----well all I can say is its a good job I braked and that there was no one behind me.
it seems like everyone else is getting the snow! why not in nottingham!!!!??? where's yorkshire pudding??
ReplyDeleteI know Sutton Bank well. A great view I agree. The visitors centre does a good cuppa!
ReplyDeletea long time since I went over Sutton Bank - such maniacs as you describe want ..... I usually avoided Sutton Bank prefering the quieter roads past the White Horse at Kilburn.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know there was a visitors centre there now.
what a view!!!! excellent capture
ReplyDeleteI have been reading about cameras for hours today and have only moments ago found out that apparently one can use old Nikkor lenses with the DSRL body (I commented about that at David's blog).
ReplyDeleteI love my old analog Nikon, the hope of continue to work with my old lenses makes a Nikon DSRL closer within my reach. I'll see. Thank you for your advice, and your photos are certainly a recommendation for buying Nikon!
:-)

ReplyDeletelovely view, pity you had to endure the idiot road hog to see it! We have lots of them, double barrier lines seem to mean nothing to them!
