  2. Those are stunning photos! What a beautiful place!

I LOVE water mills! We have the oldest water mill in the U.S. in my town; I will post a photo soon so you can see it. =)

Sorry for my absence... it is school vacation here because of the holiday and I've had a houseful of happy commotion for the last week! =)

  6. Imac,
I found this to be so interesting of the Abbey, i had to do a search of it. I love churches and especially churches from the old country. I wanted to see the inside of the church so if anyone else is interested here is the website for it

  7. I have just read an article about the development of mills of various sorts - among them the water mill driven ones. It was very interesting to see such a big one "live". The only one of this size I have ever seen was at a museum in Denmark. They could deliver(according to their times)"tremendous power". Do you happen to know if it is till in working order? (If I know anything about the English and their sense for conservation - it probably is)

Beautiful church - and you have a lot of them!

Thank you for your own kind words!

  8. Hi Imac,
I got your message on my Skywatch so here I am, obeying orders, lol. Seriously though, the pictures of Buckfast are lovely.I see Old Wom Tigley refers to the infamous Buckfast wine! I rather liked it when I tried it years ago!

  14. Beautiful photos!

Wonder what's now inside of the Water Wheel Mill? I kind of doubt it's still a mill. But it certainly must be in use.

When I first read ~ I thought you said Water Wheel Mill Inn! Sometimes I like it when I misread. I wanted to ask you if you had any pics of inside! :-)
