Victoria Park Post 4

Here we meet up with a fisherman, passing his day off work relaxing while trying to catch a fish,(the one that got away) comes to mind here.haha.
Further round the lake - what a find- A Crane basking in the warm sunshine?
Going through the woods, we suddenly find our furry friends,Having a nibble indeed.

On our way out of Victoria Park, we come across this wall with some flowers growing. Thought this a pretty end to our visit to Victoria Park - as we go on our way........

Hope you all enjoyed our trip.-----------------------Coming up next --is
Grantham Parade and Switching on of the Xmas tree Lights.

  2. Oh I love those white 'flower-things.' They are probably more of a 'grass' than a flower. But they are so pretty. I've never seen them, around these parts. :-)

  8. What a beautiful flowery rock wall - just proves you don't need neat-and-tidy garden beds to look attractive. Lovely to see that crane, too.

  13. Hmmm, that squirrel with the nut in its mouth, looks 'kinda like a trophy my grandson had made with a fox squirrel he shot. The taxidermist put an acron in its mouth and mounted it on a piece of board that looked like bark...

Loved the fishing picture too! I've been tempted to stop and take pictures of some of the locals fishing off the bridge on the east side of town...
