Confesion here folks,2 planes in the frame due to Photoshop Elements. In my defence, all i can say is that both planes were taken the same day in the same city of Lincoln.
Congratulations. Quite an amazing shot. I think the 'new' plane is called an AWACS though, which I believe stands for Airbourne Warning and Control System.
That's a really neat shot with them both in there.
When we lived near DFW airport in Texas, my parents would sit out on our patio and watch the planes take off and land. At night you could see the lights of them lined up a couple of minute's flight apart, all along the sky.

Very nice imac.
Nice to see them both in frame.
Dick has posted a plane photo also. After seeing yours and his I know I need a lot of practice taking pictures of planes in the sky!
Nice shot. The sky kind of has a lilac color to it.
Looks dangerously close!
