IMAC We have raised ducks and geese for many years, so I sure can relate to those pictures. The Swans are so lovely, what is their demeanor? We always taught our four kids to respect the animals, never chase them and for sure give them a wide berth during mating and nesting season. Hence our Fowl are really nice.
Thanks for checking our Snapper out and thank you for adding me to your link ;)
I think the swan is giving you a warning perhaps... or maybe just a little camera shy, the family group is very good, we see a few small family groups around these parts, maybe 2 baby's, I can't remember the last time I saw more than 2. We do have mink around now and that might be why.
I'd say the swan in your first photo was putting on a show for the camera!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty all fluffed up like that!

ReplyDeleteGreat swan. Superb photo!
ReplyDeleteLove the 'Reflections' photo. Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture of the swan just landing. I love the water swirl an the fluff.
ReplyDeleteThese are both wonderful, but the swan's position and it's reflection in the upper one is especially great.
