Header Challenge 31-08-11 "Space Race" by Gailsman

This weeks Header is by Gailsman whose choice was SPACE RACE.

My version is a story of a SPACE RACE  to save the Planet Earth with Mac and an Alien called PSHD 

traveling through Natures 5 Dimentions to the Past, where Earth is in its infancy and in danger from 4 of its 5 moons which are on a collision course -----Do they save Earth?  - we shall see---

My Header is Natures 5 dimensional Time Tunnel.

My Friend PSHD(an Alien) visits me and tells me that Earth is in danger and he wants me to travel back in time with him to save Earth from destruction by 4 of its 5 moons which is on a collision course.

So starts our Space Race to save Earth.

We get ready and board PSHDs space ship.

We hover to the edge of the gravity pull then ......

5-4-3-2-1- we blast off into outer space - at a speed thats never been heard of

heading for the entrance to the 5 dimensional Time Tunnel

PSHD and I travel through Natures 5 dimensional Time Tunnel

traveling Forward to the Past.

We exit the Time Tunnel and find our Planet Earth and its 5 moons in its infancy  covered with water and ice with no life on it as yet.

PSHD gets the power beams ready to fire at the 4 moons which are on collision course of Earth, he tells me as soon as he fires pull the lever for full speed - so we escape from the debris of the 4 moons.

The power beams hit the 4 moons which shatter  and the debris scatter into outer space

as I pull the lever - we see Earth

with its remaining moon in orbit with our Planet

as we head for the Time Tunnel

We travel through Natures Time Tunnel 

Back to the Future....

PSHD  and I have saved the Planet Earth from being destroyed.

We won the Space Race to Save Earth.

We say our goodbyes and PSHD flies off to his Planet far off  in space.

Well - thats my Space Race.

Sunday eve walk

We had a funeral to go to on Monday in Buxton, so we thought we would have a few days in the Dales.

We stayed at the Stanley Arms, it was a sunny eve so we decided to go for a walk,

We strolled down this lane,

when we met 2 wooly friends who stopped having supper to say hello,

A stream kept criss crossing under the road with little falls.

Green green grass,

and the sun shining on the tree tops,

also shining on the hills and hollows.

We came across Horses,sheep and deer grazing all together,

The sun dropped and we decided to turn back,

As we strolled back the fluffy clouds gathered and

gave us a great showing

as the sky changed so many times.

What better to end our night of Nature, as we entered our room we found sherry and chocs awaiting us, what better service could one have.
