Pigeons on ice
Also my visits have been on ice today, as I have been downloading my pics from Lincoln from Thurs visit and I can confirm that I have shots from inside the Cathedral, which I hope you all will enjoy.
Nice photo... I remember the other day when my family and I were watching pigeons landing on the ice of a frozen fountain. It was so funny how they slipped at landing. :) God bless you! Cezar
Mac: Great shot with a neat reflection. How many pigeons does it take to crack the ice? Why, more then you have shown.
ReplyDeleteI think their feet are stuck in the ice!
ReplyDeleteNice header :o) Have a good weekend!
I bet they have cold feet!! So neat this photo.
ReplyDeleteOh their poor little feets! I really like the way you can see so much detail in the reflections. Great capture!
ReplyDeleteYeah Rah---can't wait to see the inside of that cathedral...
ReplyDeleteYour Pigeons on Ice picture is neat. Thanks!!!
Betsy
Your pigeons look different from the ones I saw in Chicago. I thought those were seagulls at first.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. Love the reflections. I always wonder how they keep those tiny feet from freezing off. If I could knit I would make little bird socks.
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern the pigeons make. And the shadows on the ice. If I were a pigeon, I would be most unhappy resting on ice. :-)
ReplyDeleteyour header is fabadabadoo. i guess that valentine's mean a lot to you both. so enjoy it, and thanks fir always taking time to visit me.
ReplyDeleteoh and of course i love your photos every single one.
ReplyDeleteStewart: YOU ought to know that these age gulls - not pigeons!! ;-)
ReplyDeletePS Nice photo, though
Very neat reflection here Mac. Have a great weekend :-)
ReplyDeleteI wondered if any one would notice my Deliberate mistake - that these are Gulls and not Pigeons.
ReplyDeleteWell spotted Craver and Rune. Also anyone else too.
Aren't those seagulls?
ReplyDeleteNice photo... I remember the other day when my family and I were watching pigeons landing on the ice of a frozen fountain. It was so funny how they slipped at landing. :)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
Great shot. Looks like they are walking on water. Quite mesmerizing.
ReplyDeleteI get chills just looking at this picture, but I do like the reflections you've captured in this picture.
ReplyDeleteCool shot - pun intended :-)
ReplyDeleteHey they're not pigeons, they're black-headed gulls!!! oo you already sed that....
