More of Lincoln Cathedral

We'll take a short walk around Lincoln Cathedral.
Hows this for a large stained glass window, hopefully next week we may be able to get a photo of the inside.
Just take a look at these stone arches, they dont build like they used to.

  2. As a child, I took those kind of structures for granted. These days, I appreciate that labor and craftsmanship so much more. Nice pics!

  7. Mac, that place is truly awesome. I don't think there are any cathedrals in our country as gorgeous as Lincoln Cathedral. I just love the old cathedrals and castles in Europe.... Would love to see some of them someday!!!

  10. I cannot begin to comprehend how labor intensive and time consuming architecture was back then...simply without words...I cannot wait to see the stained glass from the inside...it has got to be amazing...
